Manchester United still have a lot of work to do ahead of the start of the season, the team still needs to make some sales of players, with the intention of being able to keep adding new reinforcements before the transfer window closes, for that reason after making the last signing, the board has as main objective to let go of several players.

The arrival of Rasmus Hojlund has been the most recent transfer the club has made, as during the match against Lens at Old Trafford, he was officially presented, however, after this latest addition the Red Devils have run out of budget space, so the sale of the players already on the transfer list could help the manager to obtain at least a couple more signings.

The departure of Fred is one of the most talked about issues in recent weeks, as the Brazilian has not been able to prove that he deserves to be at United, and Ten Hag has not even called him up for the pre-season, so it is more than evident that his transfer is very close to being finalised.

Several teams like Fulham, Galatasaray and some Saudi Arabian clubs have shown interest in the midfielder, however, only the Turkish team is the one that has put an offer on the table, even so, the Red Devils decided to reject the 6 million euros approximately, as it was not close to the real price that the board is willing to receive for Fred, so it is expected that a better offer is presented during the week, so that way his move is made.

Fred's new value

The Brazilian is one of the players who are closer to leave Manchester United, during the beginning of the transfer sale the club set at £20 million the value of the Brazilian; but after receiving an offer from Galatasaray less than its value, the red devils decided to lower to £12.7 million his transfer price, with the motive of making his move as soon as possible.
