Kylian Mbappé is one of the best footballers today, his enormous quality and ability shown in every game make any team look to have him, even Manchester United would have been interested in the attacker in some period of the summer, however, his high price was one of the impediments of the club to sign him; after seeing that they had no chance of signing the Frenchman, the coach would go for an option with good qualities, but more economical.
Rasmus Hojlund arrived at the club not as the first option for Ten Hag, but now that his signing is about to become official, there is no doubt that it excites the fans and also that it could be the best solution available for the problem that the team was presenting throughout last season; however, while all this movement of the Dane was taking place, Mbappé would be going through a complicated situation with PSG, as they would not have reached a renewal agreement, so Al Hilal made an approach with the French striker with the possibility of being able to sign him.
The Arab club would have put on the table 300 million euros just for the transfer of Kylian Mbappé, in addition to that would offer 776 million as salary in just one season, something that had never been seen before, but that certainly surprised the entire sporting world, because it was the first time that such an amount was offered, clearly it was a proposal that no one could have matched, not even Manchester United who had much interest in signing him and that with the possible arrival of Sheikh Jassim as the new owner, there would be the possibility of offering a little more of its value.
Everything seems to indicate that Manchester United already have the striker they were looking for, the Danish striker would arrive from Atalanta being one of the great promises and that his potential could explode at Old Trafford, for that reason the club would be willing to offer Rasmus Hojlund a salary of 5 million pounds approximately, something totally ridiculous to what Al Halil would offer Kilyan Mbappé.
