When Erik Ten Hag took over United, he made an obvious segregation of players he wanted and those he didn’t deem worthy of wearing the United badge under his reign. A few former first-time regulars were on the list which included Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Wan-Bissaka joined Manchester United in 2018 after a couple of outstanding years as Crystal Palace's right fullback before making the big switch to Old Trafford. His then-manager Jose Mourinho gave him the much need backing to excel at such a big club.

He was exceptional to the Mourinho philosophy and became a guaranteed starter. Even after Mourinho was sacked by the board for the team's dip in form, new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continue to back Wan-Bissaka in his right-back position.

The England-capped fullback, unfortunately, had a dip in form which saw him get ridiculed by the fans along with his fellow teammate. When Erik Ten Hag took over he opted to give Diogo Dalot the nod ahead of Wan-Bissaka which signals his way out of the club.

What happened after Wan-Bissaka fought back?

Rumors circulated Erik Ten Hag didn't want the English fullback at the club and was ready to sell. But Ten Hag dismissed such rumors in recent weeks clarifying that Wan-Bissaka was having injury and fitness struggles in the earlier part of this season after his recent consistent level of form since he got his opportunity under the Dutchman. It is believed that Manchester United have now decided to keep him despite interest from clubs.
