It is safe to say that Erik Ten Hag quickly become the most loved man in Manchester as United fans continue to praise the efforts of the team manager who has been at the helm of affairs since the summer after joining the club from Ajax.
He gave a clear message of intent on what he expected from his team during his first presser at the club which was well received by the fans as it was no less than what is the required standard of a club as big as Manchester United.

Ten Hag went further to quickly assess the team, highlighting areas that needed cogent attention to implementing his football ideology at the club as well as providing him with enough options to choose from when preparing for games.
The result gradually began to come to life as the season progressed which gave fans a better understanding of what they should expect from his current squad and future ones. The turnaround saw them climb up to fifth on the EPL table just three points behind Newcastle before the season was halted.
The season was put on hold for the commencement of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar as 14 of their first-team players got the invitation to participate. Ten Hag had previously predicted that at least one of his players will win the tournament and his prediction is spot on, as two Manchester United stars have made it to the final of the World Cup in Qatar. His favorite center-back duo of Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez will be competing for the World Cup trophy with France and Argentina, which is exciting news for United fans as well.
