The Red Devils are desperately counting down to the opening of the winter transfer market to begin the transfer plans at full stretch  as they look to reinforce the team for the second half of the season which starts tomorrow for them.

Manchester United are in dire need of some quality addition in the winter window that would have an instant impact to boost their team's chances this season as they continue o compete on all front under their new manager Erik Ten Hag.

The Red Devils are looking to bring in a striker, a right back, and possibly any other quality addition that will be available in the transfer market in January. United's need for this addition is done to their squad assessment result and other factors in the first half of the season.

Erik Ten Hag and Manchester United have confirmed that the priority is to first bring a striker to offset the avoid left by the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo from the club after his contract was mutually terminated in response to his media interview that cause a club crisis. 

WHO IS MANCHESTER UNITED PRIMARY TARGET?

The Red Devils have been linked to also of attacking players for the coming window but the club is believed to have settled on a target. According to reports, Manchester United is expected to go all out to acquire PSV's Cody Gakpo in January. Though it is believed that this is a done deal with United leading in the pursuit, they are still wary of unexpected change and would love to wrap up the deal as soon as the transfer market is open.
