Manchester United lets the victory escape with Maguire as the protagonist in minutes

Sevilla achieved a valuable tie after drawing at the end 2-2 against Manchester United in the first leg of the quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa League, a duel played at Old Trafford.

Manchester United, playing at home, took the lead with a brace from Austrian Marcel Sabitzer who scored both goals with his left leg at minutes 14 and 21 respectively.

But Sevilla, around minute 84, began the comeback, first with an own goal from Malacia after a cross from Jesús Navas. Then in the nineties, Youssef En-Nesyri finished off with a header and headed the center back and captain Harry Maguire on the rebound.

It was an intense game in which the Red Devils, who are living one of the best moments after a few years adrift, defeated the six-time champion of the UEFA Cup, today the UEFA Europa League, to stay on course for their second tournament title, although the return game is still missing.
