Manchester United are in talks with a number of clubs to make player transfers a reality, the club urgently needs to make some sales in the coming weeks, as the manager still has plans to add at least a couple of players to strengthen the squad.

As already mentioned, several players are on the transfer list. Since the beginning of the summer, Erik Ten Hag has been aiming to sell as many players as possible, as during this transfer window the club has not had much room in the budget, so it has become important to make a profit from every sale.

Donny Van de Beek has been in the sights of several teams that could make him leave the Red Devils during this season, although Ten Hag has occupied him during the preseason, the midfielder would not see the expected minutes of play, due to the signings that have been made for the position, plus they are thinking of adding one more player.

So the option to leave United could benefit the career of van de Beek, who hopes to have a greater role this year, but Ten Hag could not give it to him, so the board has been holding talks with Real Sociedad in order to close a transfer that could benefit both parties and each can get what they want.

Van de Beek's value

The Dutch midfielder has spent three seasons with the Red Devils and although his contract expires until 2025, Erik Ten Hag has decided that it is time to let the player leave, so Real Sociedad, who are the most interested team, will have to pay around £13m to sign him.
