Manchester United have been slow to make signings, although the two signings that have been unveiled have been to the delight of the fans, it has to be said that the negotiations have been something that the club would have to improve on, as to get the two reinforcements the club had to go through a long and complicated process.

The first signing of the summer was Mason Mount, who at one point it was believed would no longer join the club because three bids had been rejected, the manager had to look for other options in case the English midfielder had not arrived, after weeks of intense negotiations the Red Devils were able to secure him, but paid £60 million for his transfer.

With Andre Onana it was a similar case, the only difference is that United would have been in more of a hurry to sign him because we didn't have a first choice goalkeeper, so Ten Hag had to rush to get him and make him join the rest of the team during the pre-season, however, there have been players that they have not even been able to make an offer for them, because for different reasons they end up moving away from the club.

The case of Harry Kane is the most obvious one, the Red Devils have needed a striker since the transfer window started and although there would have been a lot of interest in signing the striker, it could not happen due to the lack of budget and the negotiation action by the board, no doubt this has brought problems to Ten Hag who has to look for quick solutions, as well as looking for alternatives.

Manchester United would be looking for a goalkeeper to act as a substitute for Andre Onana, the previous weeks they would have been talking about the option of bringing the Japanese keeper Zion Suzuki, however, in a new information could be that his recruitment could fall apart due to the little interest of Suzuki to join the team, this because he considers that he would not have much playing time and for the moment he would prefer to stay with the Urawa Red Diamonds in his country.
