Ten Hag reveals Manchester United board's plans as fans react
Erik Ten Hag had previously declared their intention to bring in a striker to fill in the vacuum left by Cristiano Ronaldo's exit from the club and provide more quality to their attacking options at his disposal for the remainder of the campaign.
Ronaldo's midseason exit was inevitable at the club following his explosive media interview that threw Ten Hag and the club under the bus for several actions and created chaos. The Portugueses then moved on to the Al Nassr FC in Saudi Arabia.
According to reports, though Manchester United are working on securing a deal for Wout Weghorst, the club is very much in talks with other attacking targets including Joao Felix of Atletico and Memphis Depay of Barcelona. It remains to be seen what the final outcomes will be regarding these targets.
