Manchester United delighted with André Onana signing

Erling Haaland's arrival in the Premier League has been a real madness, the Manchester City striker, had one of the best seasons in the championship, his presence in the box and the way he scores goals stand out above the rest, however, there is a Manchester United player who has already faced the Norwegian and says he is not afraid of him.

The player who has only just arrived at Old Trafford is André Onana, the Cameroonian goalkeeper who has been reunited with the rest of his teammates during the pre-season tour in the United States, where he was presented, Erik Ten Hag could finally have his second signing of the summer and the one he was waiting for so long.

André Onana was brought in to replace David de Gea, whose contract with United expired on 1 July, and although it is not an easy position to fill, the Dutch manager is very confident in the skills and abilities that the Cameroonian goalkeeper can demonstrate during his time at the club.

Besides that, the goalkeeper could be of great help this season to stop Haaland, remember that both faced in the Champions League final, before the game he was asked his opinion about the Norwegian and if he was afraid of him, to which André Onana replied: "Afraid of him? A man is not afraid of another man" and concluded: "He is a very good player, but he will have to prove to me that he is the best, because I will be there.

<br/>Ten Hag&#39;s plan for Onana

Manchester United have let go of a great goalkeeping legend, but the signing of Andre Onana to the team could help the manager with his plan for the position; it has been said that Ten Hag would look to have a similar system to what Manchester City and Liverpool have with the goalkeeping issue, so the footwork and playmaking that Onana has as a strength is very important to the manager.
