Manchester United have tried to sign several elite players for this season, however, they have not been able to consolidate any of those signings due to economic reasons, as the manager had a very low budget margin compared to previous years, so other clubs were taking most of the targets that the red devils wanted.

Neymar was one of those players, who at some point was linked with United, as the Brazilian star at the beginning was not very clear about his future at Paris Saint-Germain so many experts had commented that one of the best destinations for the striker was Old Trafford, so more and more rumours were coming out about it.

Similarly, one of the possibilities for his arrival was on the condition that Sheikh Jassim became the new owner of the club, as there was talk that being a Qatari group they could have a little more leverage when negotiating the transfer of Neymar with PSG; in the end it has not been the situation of the takeover of the club, as little by little the idea of the Brazilian arriving during this season was dissipating.

However, after a month without receiving any update on the issue, Neymar reported a couple of days ago that he would not continue with the French side, so he demanded his departure this summer, immediately the red devils began to shuffle the possibility of being able to bring him, so all the fans began to get excited again, as there was only a small chance of signing him.

Neymar's future has been decided

Manchester United have not been the only team interested in signing the Brazilian star, according to Fabrizio Romano, Al Hilal are close to closing the deal for the striker, and Neymar has already approved the transfer, so sources close to the Arab club expect an offer to be made within the next 24 hours.
