While Manchester United and Erik ten Hag are still looking for new players in the transfer market, they haven’t forgotten about the deadwood in the current squad. They have been trying to loan out the younger players so they can get more playtime in other clubs with less pressure than the 20-times champions of England.

However, there are some players that the club is willing to let go on a permanent transfer. That is the case for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who has lost the battle against Diogo Dalot to be United’s first-choice right-back because the Dutch manager isn’t convinced by the young Englishman’s abilities with the ball on his feet.

Although they have been trying to sell Wan-Bissaka for weeks, not one single formal offer has been received at Old Trafford’s headquarters. But apparently, their luck is about to change as Crystal Palace has shown interest in re-signing him but they wouldn’t be prepared to make a bid of more than £10 million.

Let’s remember that the Red Devils bought the right-back in 2019 for a fee of €55 million since he was one of the most promising young full-backs in English football back then. He started well with the United shirt as he delighted the Old Trafford fans with his precise slide tackles that covered up his offensive deficiencies. Sadly, he eventually started to lose his defensive capacity.

A great deal for the Eagles

If Manchester United accepts this offer of £10 million, then Crystal Palace would have made great business by buying him back with a profit of 40 million. They know he is still young at 24 years of age and they believe that their manager Patrick Vieira could get the best of him once again at Selhurst Park, where started his career.
